Foreclosures and Predatory Lending
As foreclosures continue to skyrocket across the Massachusetts and the rest of the country, O•N•E is committed to supporting initiatives that curb predatory lending and increase the opportunity for homeowners facing foreclosure to retain their homes. In Massachusetts, O•N•E supports recent legislation sponsored by State Senator Jarret Barrios and proposed by community organizations including Citizens Housing And Planning Association (CHAPA), Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance (MAHA) and Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations (MACDC).
