O·N·E's Policy and Advocacy program was created to address issues of inequality in the economy that affect the communities we serve. Through research, report writing and advocacy, O·N·E works to address social and economic issues that unfairly limit the ability for some populations to pursue the American dream of ownership and financial security.

Policy and Advocacy Program
O·N·E's policy and advocacy program has had a long history of political success in helping low-income communities and communities of color gain increased access to credit, capital and mainstream financial services. From its role in the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Reform of 1995 to helping negotiate the terms of the Fleet Boston and Bank of America merger, O·N·E is continually at the table to make sure communities are not denied their right to the mainstream economy.
