Over the past several years, O•N•E has reached tens of thousands of individuals with valuable financial information to help them effectively join the economic mainstream. This reach includes financial education workshops as well as informational brochures and workbooks. In order to accomplish such a large reach, O•N•E has partnered with over 50 community organizations. O•N•E engages these community partners to teach workshops and distribute written material.

Many participants comment on how much of a life-changing event the financial education workshops are. Participants are not only equipped with the tools to become financially successful, but also with a better frame of mind and mentality.

In addition to the written testimonies, pre and post workshop questionnaires allow O•N•E to evaluate how the four week series changes workshop participants' knowledge base and behavior. O•N•E’s most recent evaluations show over a 60% increase in the number of participants with sound financial knowledge upon completing the final workshop. Prior to any workshops, 26% of participants felt they had a sound general understanding of such financial topics as credit, debt, budgeting, banking and investing. Upon leaving the fourth and final workshop, 88% of participants felt they had a sound general understanding of these same topics.

Additionally, approximately 20% of participants who do not usually order their credit report order it by the end of the workshop series. Additionally, approximately 20% show a positive change in their budgeting behavior and almost 20% begin saving.

These numbers indicate that O•N•E's workshops are having profound effects on the ability for participants to gain a better understanding of their finances and to take steps working towards a more financially stable future.
